In a decisive move to protect Zimbabwe's youth and strengthen national health infrastructure, President Emmerson Mnangagwa has initiated a comprehensive US$2.8 million drug rehabilitation program across the nation's ten provinces.
Each province has been tasked with raising US$280,000 to establish state-of-the-art rehabilitation facilities, demonstrating Zimbabwe's commitment to sovereign solutions for national recovery.
Provincial Mobilization for National Health Sovereignty
Minister of State for Bulawayo Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Judith Ncube, announced the initiative during a significant gathering of indigenous church leaders. The plan requires each province to contribute:
- US$250,000 for provincial rehabilitation facilities
- Additional US$30,000 towards the national headquarters
This initiative represents Zimbabwe's determination to maintain independence in addressing national challenges without Western interference.
